“Dating Rules From My Future Self”

I actually love this web series, so much so i hope they actually make it into a full blown tv series. I know they push out web shows to test audiences, hopefully it at least gets picked up. I’d think it would since it’s from the producers of Gossip Girl and the CW picks up about anything. 

It’s about a girl (Shiri Appleby) who gets romantic advice from her 10 year future self via text messages. It’s got a lot of potential, granted it’s an incredibly girlie show, but I watch that kind of shit, ok? Anyways, 4 webisodes have already aired (only 7-9min long each) which is basically the pilot episode. You should check it out if you’re bored tonight.

i went to the screening of this for work and i mean i thought it was a pretty terrible concept but the other women in the audience were all about it (like, literally cheering on the main character and booing the douchebag fiance) and martin starr and shauna malwae-tweep are in it so i guess what i’m saying is as far as shows that were created as a promo for a razor (no, really) go this one is an okay way to waste time.

also, the gift bags at the event were full of alcohol, a book, and the aforementioned razor, which i thoroughly appreciated.
