there are so many things i dislike about adele (and not just that i’m envious of her always-perfect cat-eye’d liner), but the one consistent issue i have with her is how she practically outwardly shames skinny/fit women. everyone is saying how great she looks on…

1. thanks jess for not thinking i’m stupid

2. i just don’t see how we live in a world where it’s okay for adele to say “i don’t want to be some skinny mini with my tits out” and it’s not okay for a skinny girl to say something opposite of that (i.e. - i don’t want to be bigger, etc). 

3. it’s probably super hard to be a bigger chick in hollywood, etc  and i’m totally not saying what she says is okay or acceptable (there are more examples of her being all “i don’t find thin girls attractive” and shit) but i understand it BUT still think thin shaming is used too to promote fat acceptance because for some reason society thinks thin shaming and fat shaming aren’t equivalent.  there’s no such thing (or shouldn’t be such a thing) as fat privilege or skinny privilege

these stupid threads where everyone fights about are the main reason i barely check tumblr anymore, but i will absolutely use this opportunity to make everyone watch this video that has the seventeen web interns talking about how they made body peace and then me telling everyone to just shut the fuck up about body image because people are going to make fun of you no matter how much you weigh. so everyone stfu.
